Kids World welcomes eight new exhibitors 

Exhibitors join forces to create a compelling story

With the arrival of Allkids, Bo-Vîte, Chamo, Mamelou, Manchild, Quax, Roscon and VHS Interior Decorations, the Kids World department at Trade Mart Brussels strengthens its position as the central trade platform for the children's and baby products sector. The presence of eight newcomers is also a great boost for the other exhibitors. During the Purchasing Days on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of October 2010, clients can get to know new products, new collections and promotions as well as the new exhibitors and numerous other exhibitors. In the meantime, let's introduce the newcomers...

Allkids

Among the 8 new exhibitors in the Kids World department, there are two familiar faces, one of the being the company Allkids. This company offers high quality nursery furniture by the brand Kidsmill, as well as fun loft beds and small furniture like kids size seats of the private label Allkids. There is also an extensive range fabrics collections by the brands Motches and Summer in June. Decoy Kids is a wide offer in colorful stockings, socks and baby slippers. As cherry on the cake, allkids presents the supertrendy brand Tribal Baby with fashionable bodysuits, crawlers as well as sturdy nursery bags.

Bo-Vîte

As manufacturers of textiles and wood products for babies, the firms Debeuf and Bo-Vîte have a long experience to build upon. Both companies have been working together since 1998 and are renowned for their perfect quality and workmanship. "Bo-Vîte features an extensive collection of Belgian baby articles, including christening outfits," explains Nicolas Debeuf. "The products are all produced in our own workshop. In addition to quality, we also strive towards providing outstanding service and on-time deliveries. In more recent years, we have been more and more oriented towards personalized baby products. We embroider them ourselves and make sure that our retailers can set themselves apart with unique products tailored to the customer."

Chamo

With its carefully selected offerings, the wholesaler Chamo has focused on specialized baby products since its founding in 2005. "This way we can continue guaranteeing the quality and care for our products," relates Bart De Leeuw. "Our brands fulfil all of the strongest demands in regards to quality, innovation and originality. We continuously strive to adhere to the strictest standards in the areas of quality and safety. All of our products meet European safety norms." Chamo is an exclusive distributor for the Benelux countries for several different leading brands, such as Babymoov, Bright Starts, Baby Einstein, Bibabath, Summer Infant, Tom Poof, Sofa Seat and Big Baby Bird.

Mamelou

"Mamelou imports and distributes several different international brands to shopkeepers on a wholesale basis," says Joeri De Bakker. "We are the exclusive distributor of baby products from Fisher Price, ISImini, Braun, Vicks and Cambrass, and we also have stock products from Tiny Love, Tigex and Tigex Excellence in house." The arrival of eight new exhibitors at Kids World is spreading like wildfire. "A lot of different shopkeepers have let us know that they think it's a good thing that they can now find us all together at Kids World at Trade Mart Brussels. It is a way for us to fulfil the wishes of our clients and join forces with one another in order to turn the downward spiral of the last few years into a positive story."

Manchild

"Manchild is a young company, and as a distributor, we offer basic fashion brands for babies and young kids of up to 4 years of age," explains Sven Van Oosterwijck. "Our leading brand is HipHip, with a wide range of basic clothing, such as pyjamas, shorts, and rompers, for children from 0 to 2 years. The clothing in stock is available in 13 colors and 2 quality grades: jersey cotton for summer and velour for the winter. Furthermore, we distribute clothing and accessories from trendy brands such as Playama, Blafre and Lipfish. The presence of all exhibitors under one roof at Kids World makes a lot more sense for our clients. Moreover, this gives us access to a target audience that we were not able to reach previously."

Quax

For 11 years already, Quax has been a dynamic provider of modern lifestyle products for babies. "Quax integrates all baby items into the fashion picture of the contemporary interior," say Carine Claes and Wim Smeets. "We work with trendy materials and colors and match our furniture in combination with quality textiles to the interior decor of the parents' living room. We also offer a wide choice of accessories and in recent years have been pushing hard in the area of outdoor products. In the fall, we will be introducing the exclusive Xoon stroller. For the outside, we also opt for lifestyle products that offer quality and originality first and foremost."

Roscon

Roscon is also a familiar face in the Kids World department of Trade Mart Brussels. “The strong assets of Kids World that convinced us to come back are both the strong visibility towards the belgian retail and te possibility to optimize the service for our clients," says Caroline Reyniers. “We have the space to show our brands at their best. Lodger is a textile collection in cotton and fleece for in- and outside. Besafe are secure car seats from Scandinavia. The brand Nova offers analogue babyphones free of harmful radiation. Dotbaby is a bathroom collection that combines design, quality and multifunctionality. Furthermore, there is Cantaloop - comfortable pregancy underwear, Kiwisac - a new Spanish brand nursery bags, Niniwalker - a handy aid for babies learning to walk and iiamo - self heating design baby bottles that are highly functional.”

VHS Interior Decorations

"With BiBiB & Co., we sell worldwide a unique collection of 3-D wall decorations that consist of plush animal heads that fit perfectly in child rooms," says Stephan Van Hecke. "In addition, we offer Green Gate, with which we provide a total concept for the decoration of dining areas, living rooms and bedrooms with a nod to the children. In July 2009, we acquired Yolène. The brand is known for its practical children's products with added decorative value. Earlier this year, we added a new collection that received quite a positive reception. With our brands, we feel perfectly at home in Kids World. The showroom is centrally located in this country, is easily accessible and ideal for introducing our collections to the trade audience."

Kids World Purchasing Days

"The arrival of eight newcomers is a nice boost for Kids World at Trade Mart Brussels," states Account Manager Danielle Van Aken. "In conjunction with the other exhibitors, they will definitely provide new impulses here. We are stronger in facing the economic crisis together and we are working hard on the recovery of economic activity in our industry. The addition of these new names means that our professional clients have a wider and more complete offering in one and the same place. Those who are looking to spot the latest trends and to meet the new exhibitors are warmly welcomed to the Kids World Purchasing Days on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of October 2010 at Trade Mart Brussels. The other exhibitors will also be welcoming clients with new products, collections and offerings. As usual, we are there to ensure easy access and reception. On Sunday, 3 October, there will be from 11:00 to 17:00 hrs an entertainment program for children with a bounce house, face painting, and more. The kids can enjoy themselves playing while the grownups look at the collections and place orders."
