AMBIORIX

Louis Steyns started in 1895 a shoe factory in Verviers and the factory moved in 1907 to Tongeren to become one of the best shoe manufacturers in the country. Ambiorix survived the West-European crise in the seventies and now still produces about a 100000 pair of shoes a year in the factory in Tongeren. The family group Vavedin runs the company since 2007 and gives Ambiorix a new impulse whereby quality, comfort and design remain the most important.
